Nitish Kumar, the senior leader of JD U has repeated his statement. He has said once again that the country is passing through a dangerous phase of politics and accused that efforts are being made to destroy the unity of the nation. Off course, no prizes for guessing the insinuations of Nitish. He was addressing the meeting with the party leaders and members of Schedule Caste, Mahadalit and Minortiy Cells of the party.
The former CM also talked about his long standing demand of Special Status for the state. He said that if centre fulfills the promise of special status for the state then it would trigger industrialization and generation of jobs but Narendra Modi’s BJP government has back tracked on giving special states. Nitish Kumar said that the main aim of Sampark Yatra would be to make people aware about the achievements of the present state government and how the Narendra Modi’s government in centre has not fulfilled its promise of giving special status to Bihar.
Vashitha Narayan Singh, the party President was also present and he emphasized in his speech that the state government has given special attention to the welfare of SC and mahadalits by creating the posts of ‘Vikas Mitra’, ‘ and ‘Tola Sevak’ .
