BSEB Fails A Top Student- Dhananjay Singh From Rohtas

Dhananjay Singh appeared in the Matriculation examination of Bihar School Examination Board in 2017. He fetched 96 marks in Mathematics, 80 in science and 79 in Sanskrit. However, he was declared fail as he scored only 2 out of 100 in Hindi.
After an RTI he was able to confirm that in actuality he got 79 out of 100 in Hindi. However, despite of all his efforts he never got the corrected mark sheet. Only when he approached the popular news papers of the state and got his story published the board heed his pleas and issued the corrected mark sheet.
Another student Priyanka Singh from Saharsa had also gone through the same ordeal and got justice from the Patna High Court. In her case the BSEB was asked to compensate the girl with Rs. 5 lakh from its account.
