Anna Hazare at Jantar Mantar on 11th December 2011

Anna Hazare and his team has continuously reminded the government that strong Lokpal is necessary for eradication of corruption in the country.  However, the government is adamant on introducing a Lokpal which is likely to become a symbolic institution like National Human Right Commission or National Commission for Women who have done little in their respective fields.

Anna Hazare and his team is going to show its strength and popular sentiment of the masses at Jantar Mantar on 11th December 2011.  This time the main reason behind the agitation is non inclusion of Group C and Group D employees under the purview of Lokpal. Furthermore, Anna has also expressed his displeasure over non inclusion of Prime Minister, CBI and several other groups or institutions. Despite of continuous embarrassment, election debacles and numerous corruption cases the Centre is more interested in dilly dallying rather than coming up with concrete solution.

The matter of the fact is that more the government vacillates more would be the chances of their ouster from power. In their own interest and bright political future they should immediately embrace for corruption less governance and simply eliminate those ministers, parliament members and officials , who are corrupt.
