Final Voter List of Bihar on 21st January 2013

The office of Chief Electoral Officer will publish the final list of voters as per the present records on 21st January 2013. The process of addressing the objections and claims is likely to be sorted out before 5th January 2013. It is expected that the voter list will have higher number of people as there was tremendous response to the application process. Right now the revision process of the voter list in the state is going on.

As per the present draft the number of voters in Bihar is around 5 crore 70 lakh. This number is likely to increase in the upcoming list as there were more than 30 lakh applications (Form 6) of citizens to get their name registered in the voter list. Quite amazingly there were were more than 9 lakh applications through form 7 by the voters for removal of name from a particular area. The number of applicants who made request through form 8 for correction and adding photographs is around 18 lakh.
Once the list is released citizens would be able to check their online status on the official website of the office of  Chief Electoral Officer.

    Sir, i am a resident of vil-semraha panapur saran. I submitd my name to our b.l.o for enrolment of my name at voter list bt i didnt got my name listd yet i checkd at the website. .i want the card as a proof for making up passport. I took admision at foreign for my highr studies. God knows who did the mistake the b.l.o or ne 1 frm the election cmision ofice ..if i dnt get my voter card my career wil b spoiled. Bcz witout voter id card i wont get pasport
