1st December, 2012 , Patna :- “Iss Pyar ko Kya naam doon” one of the most liked daily soap on Television by Star Plus channel came to an end on 30th November, 2012. All the followers of this serial are going to miss the main lead Barun Sobati and Sanaya Irani . Recently there was news that the male lead Barun Sobati will leave the serial , as he wants a break from his daily routine. There was news that some new face would be seen in the place of Barun.
As soon as this news floated , the creative team of this serial started receiving more than thousand phone calls requesting Barun, for not leaving the show. Even some of the fans demand Sanaya to leave the show, as they were not ready to see her with another lead. However, in the meanwhile the news came that this show itself is going to end . The exact reason behind to go off-air is not known.

The last serial was on 30th November, 2012. This abrupt ending of the show is not common with daily soaps. The die hard fans would definitely will miss their favorite stars and character as they start living with the characters and their life. Due to TRP and earning the creative team of show extends the story and as soon as TRP goes down or any lead actor leaves the show , they are compelled to end the show.
