Infant mortality rate in India has decreased in last three years. The same is with maternal mortality rate. According to the office of Registrar General & Census Commissioner, on per one lakh delivery only 212 female die.
While 3 years back figure shows that 254 women died .Likewise on per 1000 childbirth, 53 children used to die before completing their 1st Birth day, now their number is 50.
Three years back , 69 children out of 1000 were not able to enter in their 6th year. Now their number is 64.
